Eighteen months before the festival, a council of elders, artisans, and youth leaders convenes to set the programme, the dates, and the limits. We follow their lead on what is shown publicly and what remains private.

A festival, done well, is the moment a community shows its work to the world on its own terms. We resource the logistics so that nothing on the programme has to be louder than the tradition itself.
Our annual Cultural Festival is co-curated with a different host community each year. Across four to seven days, audiences are invited into workshops, performances, communal meals and quiet talks held in the working spaces of the practice itself. There are no main stages and no sponsor banners, only the room, the maker, and the work.
Tickets are issued in small numbers and priced so that one third of seats can be released free to local students and elders. Travel, lodging and translation are arranged through community-run cooperatives. Every fee paid by a visitor is itemised and returned, in part, to the practitioners and the village fund.

Our team moves into the host village for six to ten weeks to listen, sketch and co-design the festival shape. Nothing is announced until the community has approved a full draft.
We resource local production, hospitality and translation cooperatives so that the festival economy stays inside the village. Wages are paid weekly, in cash and on time.
Four to seven days of workshops, performances, shared meals and quiet talks. Audiences are kept small enough that every visitor can meet every maker, at least once.
Within ninety days of closing, we publish a transparent accounting, return surplus to the community fund, and reconvene the council to plan the following edition.
A four to seven day pass with curated workshop and performance access, communal meals included, accommodation arranged through partner homestays.
Six to ten small-group workshops with master artisans, capped at twelve participants each, with materials and translation provided.
An edited film and photographic essay of the gathering, released the following season, with the host community holding co-credit and final cut.
A printed anthology of writing, oral history and recipes produced during the festival, distributed to participants and partner libraries.
A published statement of every fee collected and how it was distributed, with at least 40 percent returning to the host village fund.
First refusal on tickets and workshops for the following year's festival, alongside the host community council's annual letter to friends of the programme.
