After each festival run we send a small printed survey and a quiet follow-up six months later. Selected excerpts appear here with the contributor's name and city.

A reading room of voices: the elders who hosted us, the audiences who stayed for the conversation, the editors who lived with the work for months, and the partners who quietly underwrote it.
We publish reviews on a slower clock than most. Custodian feedback is gathered six months after a programme closes, audience reflections after the season ends, press coverage in the year it appears. The result is a calmer record of whether the work has held up, not whether it has trended.
What follows is an honest sample. We include the warm reviews and the harder ones, and we name the corrections that came out of each. If a programme is missing from this page it is because we have not yet heard back from the host community, and we will not publish without them.

Custodians and host councils receive a written debrief at the close of every season. Their notes, including the criticisms, are reviewed in our annual report.
Brand and institutional partners are interviewed by an independent editor at the end of the engagement, without our staff in the room.
We track press coverage across long-form titles, broadsheets and broadcast and link out, including the reviews we found difficult to read.
Each year's report names the three things we did badly and the three things we changed because of what we heard. This page links to that record.
